會展設650個物聯裝置測空氣溫度

香港會議展覽中心去年接待逾820萬人次,要在高人流的展覽空間行得舒適,在空氣質素、溫度及濕度調節上都要下功夫。會展正進行「智能樓宇自控系統」的工程,並在未來5年,將投放10億元,提升會展各項配套 會展管理公司董事總經理梅李玉霞表示,整個「智能樓宇自控系統」工程投放3,700萬元,與本地公司合作,已安裝近650個感應器,利用物聯網技術,收集場館數據,實時傳到監控系統,以提升日常監測及調控效率。當中包括231個室內空氣質素感應器,作用監測溫度、濕度及室內空氣質素,如二氧化碳及懸浮粒子含量等;163個防漏監測器,以及256個溫度濕度監測器,覆蓋會展過百萬平方呎的範圍。 自動偵測調室溫 梅李玉霞表示,覆蓋範圍主要是客人活動範圍,即各個展覽廳、餐廳等。她續指,監測溫度及濕度相當重要,故需要以物聯裝置進行實時監測。「每年會展都會舉行不少大型展覽,如美食展、會展等,有部份攤位的人流較多,當感應器監測到個別空間溫度上升,數據會即時傳到控制中心,系統顯示屏會顯示為紅色,並會自動降低空調系統度數,確保場內溫度保持舒適。」 ...more

下月四展覽 助港企拓業務闢新市場

貿發局副總裁葉澤恩昨於記者會上表示,全球經濟有下行風險,為港商帶來不少挑戰。故貿發局將於下月舉辦的四項活動,包括「亞洲知識產權營商論壇」、「創智營商博覽」及「亞洲電子商貿峰會」及「香港國際特許經營展」,期望協助中小微企「迎難而上」。 他透露這些活動將涵蓋供應鏈各環節,包括研發、生產、銷售,以及業務拓展,藉以協助企業利用人工智能、大數據、物聯網等新科技,提升競爭力和成本效益、開拓新業務和新市場,以應對不斷變化的經濟形勢。 其中,貿發局將聯同港府與香港設計中心於12月6至7日舉行第八屆「亞洲知識產權營商論壇」,邀請超過80位官員及國際業界星級領袖擔任講者。此外,行政長官林鄭月娥與國家知識產權局副局長何志敏將擔任主禮嘉賓並致開幕辭。 葉澤恩指出,現時亞洲新興國家愈來愈重視創新及知識型經濟的發展,令區內知識產權貿易日益蓬勃,進一步鞏固香港作為知識產權貿易中心的地位。他表示,預期論壇吸引逾2,500名業內人士參與,連同90多家展覽商及匯聚超過28,000個項目的網上亞洲知識產權交易平台(Asia ...more

HKCEC announces “Think Before Plastic” initiative

HML is introducing a new sustainability initiative ‘Think Before Plastic’ to cut plastic consumption at the HKCEC. Starting from 1 July 2018, plastic cutlery and straws consumption are replaced by non-plastic alternatives in all the HKCEC restaurant outlets, resulting in an expected drop of 1.6 million in total plastic consumption in a year.
