港5招吸MICE客 打造會獎之都

去年本港有近200萬名會獎旅遊(MICE Tourism)過夜旅客訪港,按年增1.9%,其消費額較一般訪港客多兩成,令MICE旅客成為各地旅遊業必爭的客源,旅發局今年將加大力度,以5招(見附表)吸引更多MICE旅客訪港,同時期望藉港珠澳大橋、廣深港高鐵機遇,發展「鐵路郵輪」,把香港打造成「會獎之都」。 MICE會展及獎勵旅遊包括會議(Meeting)、獎勵旅遊(Incentive)、大會(Convention)、展覽(Exhibition)4部分,簡稱會獎旅遊。旅發局數字顯示,去年整體訪港會獎旅遊海外過夜客達192.7萬人、年增1.9%。當中澳門客升幅最高,達41.7%,菲律賓及南韓客亦分別錄得26%及14.3%的增幅;內地則有2%增長。 旅發局會議展覽及郵輪業務總經理黃卓雄透露,MICE旅客平均留港至少2至3晚,消費額較一般訪港客多18%至20%,反映他們消費力高;他對今年MICE旅客訪港情況持審慎樂觀態度,料可按年錄得單位數增幅。 ...more

「智能會展」再升級  梅李玉霞:全方位監測溫度濕度空氣質素

會展逐步落實「智能會展」的工程,去年九月便開始重舖Wi-Fi網路系統,至今會展一期大部分地方已可供應Wi-Fi服務,在工程進展順利之下,其他會展部分都亦即將可享受流順的上網體驗。 會展未來亦會啟動「樓宇智控系統」,安裝數以百計的感應器,全方位控監測和調節溫度等室內數據,從而調節出最合適的展覽環境。 香港會展管理公司今天(5日)舉行傳媒敘會。董事總經理梅李玉霞宣布,繼更新Wi-Fi網路系統後,「智能會展」的下一步將是「樓宇自控系統」,屆時會展內將裝設600個感應器,全面監測展覽廳和會議室等室內地方的溫度、濕度和空氣質素,且能自動調節。 會展全年舉行不同類型的展覽,由書展、食物展以至藝術品展,「樓宇自控系統」日後運行之後,便會由現時的人手監測,升級至全天候和全方位監控,如偵測到氣溫過高,空調系統就會降低度數,空氣質素指數下跌的話,亦有自動措施令空氣更流通,以保持最佳的展覽環境。 ...more
