The First Aloha Festival 2019 in Hong Kong at Central Harbourfront on July 28-29

(Hong Kong, July 25, 2019) The first-ever large-scale outdoor Aloha Festival in Hong Kong will take place at the Central Harbourfront (near Tamar Park entrance) on July 28 and 29, 2019 from 3pm to 9pm. Free entrance. The festival is organized by the Hong Kong International Hula Association, Central Venue Management Limited and SummerFest and is supported by Hawai‘i Tourism Hong Kong and in association with the AP International Development Institute. For two amazing days, the festival will bring the spirit of Aloha – Love and harmony – to Hong Kong. Two Hula Master will provide visitors with the most authentic Hawai‘i arts and cultural experience. The two days of activities include: International Visual Arts Awards for Children and Teenagers Awards Ceremony; the 2nd Hong Kong Hula Competition Performance Competition and Awards Ceremony; the 2nd International Hula Performance; Arts Performance and Experience; Seminars on Hawai'i Culture on Visual Arts Education; Ukulele Performance; Hawai‘i Travel Sharing and also the following workshops and experiences: -Hula Experience (*) -Ukulele Experience (*) -VR Hawai‘i Islands Tour Experience by Shadow Factory (*) -Hawai‘i Colouring Workshop (^) -Hawai‘i Painting Workshop (^) -Lei-making Workshop ($) -Hawaiian Cooking Workshop by Pololi ($) -Aloha Arts & Crafts Workshop ($) * Free Experience ^ Free Workshops $ Paid Workshops In addition, after each workshop, a Hawai‘i stamp will be given out. If you collect six stamps, you will qualify for a limited-edition Aloha gift. This will be on a first-come, first-served basis and while stock lasts.
